A blog dedicated towards architectural refinement of buildings and environments in which we live, work, and play. Chiefly this is brought about by the author with finish carpentry at heart, and many other disciplines radiating or spinning off from it.

Getting Work Done Without Getting Dirty

Because of my keen interest in drafting (self-taught on an auto-CAD program) I drew up a plan for solving an irregular stairstep to the entry of the house. Previously it was two steps, a 7-1/2 inch step, and then a whopping 10 inch step. My plan was to re-do them to make three 5-1/2 inch steps.

I didn't charge anything in helping to get this job done (as a sort of architect in miniature). I just get to brag a little that I have had a hand in concrete without getting dirty or exhausted....for a change.
